Core 4x4's Crawl Series rear upper control arms replace the worn factory stamped-steel arms on the Chevy Tahoe (2000–2006). The factory arms use soft rubber bushings and a fixed length, so there's no way to correct pinion angle after a lift or leveling kit. These Core 4x4 arms are a serious step up: DOM steel tubing and forged Rock Jock Johnny Joints at both ends for maximum articulation, with adjustable length to set rear pinion angle back to spec.

Includes: Rear upper control arms (pair); mounting hardware (bolts, nuts, and washers).

Suspension Type — Standard or Autoride (Z55): Select at checkout. Z55 trucks have factory rear air leveling; the Autoride version includes the ride-height sensor mounting tab on both rear upper arms. If you're not sure which you have, check the RPO sticker in the glove box for a Z55 code.

Notes:

Hardware is included with your arms. If you ever need replacements down the road, the matching kit is available separately.
Running a lift? The 4-piece rear set (CRL-G-800-TAH-RS4) adds the matching lower arms to replace all four rear arms in one job.

These guys are great. You can get them on the phone for support. This important and is not always the case with other custom parts builders. Their control arms are bomb proof and offer plenty of options. You can get real genuine Currie Johnny joints without paying the price for Currie arms.

I have recently come to know Core 4x4 when I purchased a Jeep XJ and was looking for a place that had dedicated XJ suspension and components. Here is what makes them different than most other shops. All of their components are top shelf quality and they back it up if you break any of it. I was able to see their shop when I picked up an order locally and was impressed with their attention to detail and how they assemble and powder coat each part. I had an issue with a shackle and needed the threaded shaft to be shorter. I called in and talked to Kaden and he told me to come by and they would shorten it for me. When I got there, Kaden and Spencer (the owner) met me and talked about options and proceeded to make the right adjustments to fit my XJ. Told me if anything changes in the future and I need additional length, they would take care of me. So what really sets them apart from others is their Customer Service. Try calling in to any other Jeep suspension or part shop and see how they treat you. Been there - done that. Will continue to do business with Core and their team. Getting that kind of service for just a shackle has me thinking I may need to replace my JT components with Core's. Thanks Guys for being helpful good humans!

The customer service is first class. I had an issue with a track bar I installed on my F350. I don’t have any other Core 4x4 parts yet, but with the way I was treated, I know their parts are well done, because they went above and beyond to make sure I was made whole. They wouldn’t be in business if they had to take care of a lot of people like they took care of me. Will definitely be back when it’s time to build the Jeep!

I don’t write reviews often, but Core 4x4 absolutely earned this one. I recently ordered leaf spring mounts and realized after the fact that I messed up my order. Totally my mistake. Instead of giving me the runaround or pointing at a return policy, Core 4x4 emailed me back and forth, worked through exactly what I was doing with my build, and made sure I ended up with the correct parts. That kind of customer service is rare these days — especially in the off-road world where a lot of companies stop caring once the order is placed. The parts themselves are exactly what you hope for: solid, well-made, confidence-inspiring hardware that looks like it belongs under a vehicle that actually gets used. You can tell these are designed by people who understand suspension geometry and real-world abuse, not just CAD screenshots. I ordered some custom control arms, but from the wrong product line and they were super cool about returning them and upgrading to a better "Crawl" series.
