RockJock's narrow forged Johnny Joints for fabricators and suspension system builders offer 40 degrees of unrestricted movement in any direction as compared to 22 degrees on a common heim joint! Johnny Joint rod ends offer cushioning that a heim joint cannot provide via a high-density urethane bushing that encases the inner ball. The heat treated center balls are cross-drilled for thru-bolt lubrication and the joint internals are retained with 2 heavy duty, heat treated side washers and a snap ring. This specific joint is a 2 1/2 in. diameter, fitted with a zerk fitting for greasing, 2 1/4 in. of 1 1/4 in.-12 right hand threads on the shank, and a 2.365 in. mounting width offset ball with a .562 in. thru bolt hole. Finished in gold zinc plating.

upper control arms look great and went on easy.. only reason I gave 4 stars and not 5 is because of a shipping issue which put my build a week behind. The issue was resolved quickly and painlessly, great customer service. Only time will tell how control arms perform but they look great and like they will go above and beyond control arm demand.

Their website estimated 2 days to get my parts but actually took 11. No communication to let me know what’s going on. Parts were missing. Some days they answer questions, some they don’t. Didn’t let me know I’d have to alter stock bolts to fit their parts.
All around just seems like they don’t care.

I purchased a set of the Cruiser Series control arms for my Jeep Jk based on postive reviews from different Jeep Facebook pages. Ordered and 2 days later realized they had the very same exact arms on sale in the overstock section. Called them up and they refunded me the savings from my original purchase. Great company. Highly satisfied with Core 4x4 customer service. Had some bushings fall apart around 600 miles from home. Called and spoke with Korby Linscomb on Thursday, late in the afternoon. He was able to get my bushings sent across country overnight at a very reasonable rate. Had me up and running by Friday evening with enough time to enjoy the Great Smoky Mountain Jeep Invasion. Ive had the front adjustable control arm kit in bright green for my 1996 ZJ.
Ive had the kit for about a year now and i have to say, im extremely impressed, over 1000 miles off-road and roughly 20,000 miles on the highway. These control arm kits for any vehicle built by core 4x4 are well worth the money, just be aware thereight be some minor scatches or chips from shipping ( but who should care about that if you're beating the crap out of em' they way they were built and designed for)
