RockJock Adjustable Front Bump Stops for JL Wranglers and JT Gladiators, as well as JK Wranglers are a completely different take on the concept of bump stops! So unique in fact that they were awarded SEMA’s 2023 Best New Off-Road/4-Wheel Drive Product of the year! In high articulation situations, axle housing mounted bump stops end up rotating inward toward the center of the vehicle, often missing the upper bump stop entirely, see diagram in the photo gallery). By lowering the bump stop, and being able to adjust it’s length, you are able to guarantee bump stop contact with the bump stop pad on the axle when and where you need it. Our adjustable kit features billet aluminum components and 5/16 in. thick steel shims that are able to be added and subtracted for fine tuning – while the bump stop assemblies are on the vehicle. You simply put a socket on the upper bolt to hold it in place, loosen the bump stop body with the supplied spanner wrench, add or subtract bump stop shims as needed and then tighten the assembly back up! The vehicle’s factory yellow jounce bumpers are retained and relocated by reinserting them back into the bottom of the new aluminum RockJock bump stop bodies. This provides factory feel when the bump stops make contact. Finish is clear anodize on the aluminum and zinc plating on the spacers and bolts.

Our product lines are designed to offer the absolute most value for your budget. Not every build is the same and we understand that. Our series differ mostly in the components used in the construction of the parts. Our Cruise and Town Series utilizes our high grade flex poly bushings at both ends of the arm, this has proven to be a smooth riding easy to maintain and replace bushing that we absolutely love. Our Camp and Trail Series utilizes 5/16″ wall DOM tubing and incorporates a flexible Johnny Joint at the adjusting end, this series has been our most popular series for all around use, great for daily drivers that want to tear up the trails as well. Our Crawl, Tow, and Track Series utilizes the same 5/16″ wall DOM tubing, but features Johnny Joints at both ends. This series gives you the absolute most out of your suspension. This is great for heavy towing/hauling and extreme off-roading. Also, if the component is straight in these series we will machine these left and right hand threaded for easy adjustment on the vehicle!

Our two main sizes of jam nuts require an1-1/2″ wrench or an 1-5/8″ wrench. Generally speaking the 1-5/8″ jam nuts are used on our lower control arms and the 1-1/2″ jam nuts on our upper control arms and track bars. There are some exceptions, but we do offer a crow’s foot that has both sizes.

Any non-synthetic moly based grease is safe on our products, avoid lithium greases and anything red as this can prematurely deteriorate the internal components of the Johnny Joints and bushings used on our parts.
